Update on COVID19 Information – 17/03/2022
In view of the complete relaxation of the COVID19 Regulations, the Management Committee have decided to remove the special terms and conditions, and all signage in connection with the regulations have now been removed. We have, however, decided to leave the hand sanitisers in place for those who still wish to take precautions. It is up to individuals, individual hirers or groups if they wish to continue with some of the suggested regulations such as social distancing or wearing face masks.

Village Hall closure – 05/01/2021
In view of the latest national lockdown, similar to the first one in March 2020, the Management Committee have taken the decision to close the hall to all users for the foreseeable future. We will obviously keep this under constant review and will make any decisions on re-opening the hall subject to Government advice and regulations in place at any time in the future. During this closure we are arranging for the hall to be deep cleaned so that it will be as safe as possible when it eventually becomes available for use again.
COVID19 QR Code – 29/09/2020
Please note that there is now a QR Code sheet at the entrance to the hall, so any visitors who have downloaded the NHS COVID19 App can scan it to register their visit to the village hall. This will help with the Track & Trace system currently in place nationally.
Update to special conditions – 29/08/2020
The Government has issued new guidance effective from 8th August 2020.
On entering a village hall, you will be required to wear a face covering, and will be required to keep it on, unless you are covered under a ‘reasonable excuse’. This could be for a gym class, if you need to eat or drink something, or if you have a health or disability reason to not wear one. Children under 11 are an exception to this ruling.
COVID19 Information – 17/08/2020
Due to the ongoing situation with regard to the COVID19 outbreak, the Management Committee have looked at the legislation and Regulations in connection with what we all need to do in order to control the virus.
We have devised 4 documents to help all users of the hall be aware of what is expected of them when they are using the hall and its facilities. Three will be issued to all regular hirers, and also issued to new hirers when they make an enquiry. The fourth is a poster that will be placed at various points in the hall as a reminder to all users.
