Cheswick Green Village Hall has been at the heart of Cheswick Green for over 40 years. It was built as part of a new village with the concept of a creation of a traditional English village with a village green, shops, pub, playing fields and a village hall. It was named ‘the village of the 70’s’
The large hall was opened by the Mayor of Solihull in November 1975 and a small hall was added in September 1991.
Today the Village Hall has never been busier with regular activities and meetings. It is used by many community groups encompassing all age ranges. These include Under 5’s, Rainbow, Brownies, Boys Brigade, Youth Club, the local U3a and Women’s Institute. There are also dance and fitness classes throughout the week.
The Village Hall is located off Cheswick Way behind the shops and pub. Car Parking is available adjacent to the Hall. There is free WIFI, the details are shown on the notice board inside the Hall.
